The 110th Annual Illinois State Checker Tournament will be held Saturday, March 28th and Sunday, March 29th, 2015 in Marion, IL, at the Illinois Star Centre Mall food court.  Address for the GPS user: 3000 W Deyoung St #604, Marion, IL 62959

The Illinois Star Centre Mall is located west of the intersection of Interstate I-57 and IL State Highway 13 (Exit 54B). Travel west on IL 13 about 1.5 miles to enter the mall, (map). The mall is located at the third stop light west of the interstate exit.  The food court entrance is on the north side near Target.

A recommended hotel is the Super 8 Motel at 2601 Deyoung, Marion, IL, 62959 (map).  phone 618-993-5577.  Checker player's rates are $45.60 + tax for double queens or king.  The Super 8 is located to the left off the first stop light west of the Interstate.

Registration on Saturday begins at 8:00 a.m. with play beginning shortly after a 9:00 a.m. business meeting. There will be four rounds played on Saturday and 3 rounds on Sunday; 3-move restriction paired by a modified Swiss system. Entry fee is $10.00
