The North Carolina Checker Association and all our checker players want to thank you and Mr. Gene Lindsay for the financial gift to Tennessee Checkers Association.  We heard about this at the TN State Open in Lebanon, TN.  We will always remember playing checkers with Gene and how he sponsored the wonderful game.  Everyone enjoyed playing checkers, fellowship, and having a wonderful time.  We appreciate this generous and thoughtful contribution which will be invested and secured so permanent and perpetual funding is available for the Tennessee Open Tournament.
