The tower under construction at Chateau Walker (below right) appears shorter than its full 7 stories because of the downward slope behind the house (note tree tops). The checkerboard living room floor (below) reflects Walker's interest as reigning Checker Champion of Mississippi. The antique Spanish suit of armor (below left) will be housed in the 3,600 square foot checker museum now being built.
