The Motel and Restaurant are beside each other so its a short walk from your room to the tournament. A good number of players arrive Thursday
and play practice games; however, registration is 9-9:30AM Friday Morning followed by short business meeting. Tournament Starts at 10:00AM

39 miles/45 minutes away from Haleyville, nice exercise room, excellent hot/cold complimentary buffet breakfast, outside seasonal pool, two queens $119 + 15% tax=$137, Hampton offers discount to: AAA, AARP, CRAP, and Gov/Military. Book reservation 3-4 weeks early to get a discount which was 16% by giving receptionist my service number and MOS. Their discounts are allotted per month on first come first served, so if they are gone you are out of luck. They are usually not that busy during this time of year when Alabama schedules their November tournament. We got it for $101+tax $15 = $116 per night. Direction: Greensboro to Atlanta on I-85 (faster to go thru Atlanta rather than perimeter I-285) then Exit 247 on I-20 to Augusta/Birmingham, keep right at fork, follow signs for I-20W/ Birmingham, which merges into I-20W, Exit 124B to I-65 North, Exit 264 "Flying J" on Daniel Payne Rd, 1st road on right (77 Coalburg Rd) to I-22, US 78 toward Jasper, Exit 65 go right on Industrial Pkwy,~4 miles to Hampton Inn on left at junction #5 toward Haleyville, continue on #13 to Haleyville.
